September - Back to School Night - Parents/Guardians Only. An opportunity to learn about the Montessori curriculum and Harmony Ways.

October - Harvest Festival & Pumpkin Patch. The community comes together for this classic fall festival featuring - crafts, a cider press, costumes, and activities for all ages. Everyone welcome. (This is a great day to bring grandparents and friends.)

December - Spiral of Light. Each year prior to the Winter Solstice, Harmony gathers to celebrate with light and love during the darkest days of the year. Amidst the very busy holiday season, we sit as a community and experience the quiet beauty of the children walking through the "spiral of light." Each student walks their candle into the center of the spiral, lights it, and then chooses a place for the candle to sit along the path. The light brightens the path for those who come after. Join us on the property for this beautiful winter tradition before we break for the holidays. Everyone welcome

Jan/Feb - Chinese/Lunar New Year – Students Only. The children create their own version of a dragon dance, share some customary foods and learn about the traditions and culture of China and the lunar calendar.

February - Valentines Day – Students Only. Harmony children will exchange their homemade valentines. Each child makes one special card – we invite them to be as creative and detailed as they’d like. It should be signed by them but not addressed to anyone. You’re welcome to drop your child off for an hour to participate even if it is not typically a school day for you

March - St. Patrick’s Day – Students Only. This is a special day when the children search for gold as they enjoy a nature hike around the property. They return to Harmony for homemade Irish soda bread. Children who do not normally attend are welcome to join us for the hike.

April - Earth Day. Taking care of the Earth is a theme woven into daily life at Harmony. And our garden is - in many ways - at the center of school life. All year long the kids tend to their plants and compost, harvest fruits and vegetables for their meals, and play amidst the earth, insects and flowers. In Spring time we explore the ideas of new life and growth. Each year the Harmony community comes together on Earth Day to plant the spring garden, celebrate new beginnings and honor Mother Earth.

June - Graduation. The Harmony community gathers in our garden to celebrate the year's graduates. Following the ceremony, there will be a post-graduation party – usually hosted by graduating families. Everyone is welcome.

Post Graduation Party - The graduation party will follow at a separate venue.  Graduating families usually coordinate this event.
